Escambia County Landfill Analytical Services

The Escambia County Water Quality Laboratory (ECWQL) is seeking a Florida-certified laboratory to provide analytical services for the Escambia County Landfill. The selected laboratory will be responsible for conducting twice-annual monitoring at four landfills, including groundwater and surface water testing. The laboratory must be able to respond to emergency calls within one hour and operate Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. The contract is expected to commence in fall 2026 and will have a term of 36 months, with the option to renew for two additional 12-month periods. • The laboratory must have current National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP) certification and meet all state and local government requirements. • The laboratory must provide copies of the most recent satisfactory NELAP or Department of Environmental Protection (DEP)/Department of Health (DOH) inspection of their facility. • The laboratory must have a demonstrated ability to supply electronic data deliverables (EDDs) in the required formats. • The laboratory must have at least five years of experience performing testing services for waste services treatment facilities. • The laboratory must employ a full-time Quality Control Officer with at least two years of experience in laboratory quality control.
