Description
The Ventura Unified School District is inviting bids for the replacement of plumbing flush valves and sink faucets with new low-flow fixtures at various school sites. The project includes the installation of new fixtures at 12 school sites, including Balboa, Data, E.P. Foster, Homestead, Lemon Grove, Lincoln, Montalvo, Mound, Pacific, Portola, Sheridan Way, and Will Rogers. The bid includes a base bid cash purchase price for each school site, as well as a total base bid for all 12 sites. The bid also includes an allowance amount of $50,000 for items described in the special conditions. The contractor will be required to complete the work within the time specified in the agreement, which is 90 days after the notice to proceed. The contractor will also be required to provide a performance bond and payment bond.
