Notice of Intent to Sole Source – Agilent Technologies

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to award a fixed-price purchase order to Agilent Technologies for reagents and preventative maintenance services for the Seahorse XFEe Analyzer at the NIH Clinical Center. The proposed vendor provides the clinically approved platform for reagents, kits, and instruments that may be used for patient care testing on clinical and research cellular products. Preventive maintenance is required to comply with the manufacturer and FDA 21 CFR 211.67. • The Seahorse XFe96 is a unique instrument that measures cellular potency using metabolic activity following CAR T cell and other cell product manufacturing. • This instrument is needed to generate data required for the release of the cellular therapy product. • Agilent technologies is the sole vendor that provides the periodic Preventive Maintenance (PM) for this type of device. • Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting.
