Elevator/Lift Installation & Repair

The Wake County Public School System is seeking to secure a contract to provide Elevator and Lift Installation and Repair at various WCPSS facilities throughout the district. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to extend for an additional year. The contractor will be responsible for providing installation and repair services for a variety of brands of elevators and wheelchair lifts, and must be able to handle multiple calls at one time. The scope of work will be defined on a per work order basis, and the contractor will be expected to report to the site within 2 hours for urgent corrective maintenance requests. • The contractor must carry appropriate licenses and/or certifications. • The contractor must be able to provide documentation showing the cost of materials per the request of WCPSS for any given job. • The contractor's net profit on subcontractors' rates shall be no greater than cost plus 5%. • The contractor's net profit on materials overhead and profit shall be cost plus 10% charged to materials required to complete assigned projects.
