Emergency Operations Center UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply)

The City of Pittsburgh is soliciting services to replace an existing UPS system and associated components at the Emergency Operations Center. The work will include demolition and disposal of old equipment, procurement and installation of new equipment, and engaging a crane and rigging company. The project requires experience with high-performance building construction methods and a proven track record of similar projects. The contractor will be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations. • The existing UPS system has exceeded its service life and is not functional. • The contractor will be required to provide a construction schedule and staff the project continuously. • The contractor will be required to provide a performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price. • The contractor will be required to provide warranties for the UPS system and other materials and labor. • The project is subject to Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates.
