The United States Air Force is seeking information from potential contractors for the Airfield Damage Repair (ADR) AM2 Airfield Matting kits. The kits are used to provide an expedient FOD cover for crushed-stone or debris backfilled craters, or expansion of taxiways or parking aprons over semi-prepared surfaces. The contractor will be responsible for supplying, packaging, documenting, and delivering the AM2 kits, sub-kits, or individual items to selected worldwide locations. The contractor will also be responsible for loading and unloading the kits at their origin and destination.
• The AM2 kits have three configurations: the AM2 Airfield Expansion Kit, the AM2 FOD Cover Kit, and the AM2 Training Kit.
• The kits consist of various components, including matting panels, specialized components, and assembly tools.
• The contractor will be required to provide weekly status reports and quarterly status reports.
• The contractor will be required to provide a Quality Control Plan and designate a Quality Control Representative and a Quality Assurance Representative.
• The Government will conduct inspections to ensure that the kits meet the technical requirements outlined in the attachments.
