Description
The City of Bellevue, Nebraska is seeking a qualified insurance brokerage firm to provide Property & Casualty and Workers’ Compensation insurance brokerage and consulting services. The selected firm will provide comprehensive brokerage, risk management consulting, marketing, placement, and advisory services to secure optimal coverage at competitive pricing while minimizing the City’s total cost of risk. The contract is expected to be for an initial term of three years, with options for up to two additional one-year renewals at the City’s sole discretion.
• The City has a population of over 65,000 and employs approximately 425 full-time, part-time, and temporary employees.
• The City currently purchases various lines of insurance, including property, general liability, automobile liability, and workers’ compensation.
• The selected firm will provide services including brokerage and placement, risk management and consulting, administrative and reporting, and workers’ compensation specific services.
• The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to conduct interviews with short-listed firms.
