Description
The City of Salina is soliciting bids for the demolition of an existing scale house, earthwork, construction of a new municipal scale house, installation of two truck scales, and associated site improvements including pavement, concrete pads, curbs, sidewalks, and utility coordination at the Salina Municipal Solid Waste Landfill. The work is to be performed on a firm‑unit‑price basis and requires a bid bond.
• Demolition of existing scale house and truck scale, with proper disposal.
• Complete new building construction (architectural, structural, MEP) and two calibrated truck scales with foundations and approach slabs.
• Site grading, aggregate base, asphalt paving, concrete pads, curbs, sidewalks, and storm‑water controls.
• Coordination of all required utilities (power, water, sewer, communications) for the new facility.
