Apparel Laundry Services with Miscellaneous Apparel Purchases

The University of Connecticut Health Center (UConn Health) seeks qualified vendors to provide comprehensive laundering services for a variety of customer‑owned apparel, including laboratory coats, mammography gowns, operating‑room jackets, and other clinical garments. In addition, the contract may cover miscellaneous uniform and apparel purchases (e.g., fire‑retardant garments, polos, tees, pants, jackets, sweatshirts) on an as‑needed, non‑exclusive basis for the Facilities and Logistics department. UConn Health retains the right to source additional apparel items from other vendors throughout the contract term. • Scope includes collection, cleaning, drying, pressing, and delivery of clinical and non‑clinical garments. • Services must meet health‑care infection‑control standards and handle specialized fabrics (e.g., FR, fluid‑resistant). • Vendor may be asked to supply additional uniform items on a purchase‑order basis. • Contract is open to all vendors; no line‑item pricing required. • Delivery term is FOB Destination (vendor responsible until goods reach UConn Health).
