Description
The Army Contracting Command – Rock Island (ACC-RI) is seeking a contractor to provide Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) modernization services in support of the Rock Island Arsenal, Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC). The contractor will be responsible for replacing linear accelerators and X-ray tubes, providing new manipulator systems, and ensuring compliance with safety interlocks and applicable codes and standards. The contract will be a firm fixed price (FFP) purchase order, and the contractor will be required to provide their best price at the time of quote submission. The contract duration is expected to be 18 months. Key services include:
• Replacing linear accelerators and X-ray tubes in the Large and Small Vaults
• Providing new manipulator systems
• Ensuring compliance with safety interlocks and applicable codes and standards
• Acquiring computed radiography scanners and digital radiography panels (optional)
• Providing a modular NDT X-ray vault and X-ray cabinet (optional)
