07121P0124-Stabilization Beds Open-Ended RFP

The New York City Department of Homeless Services (DHS) is seeking proposals for the provision of stabilization beds to provide shelter and services to homeless individuals. The contract is expected to be for approximately 5 years, with an option to renew for up to 4 years. The scope of work includes providing temporary emergency housing and related services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness in New York City. • The contractor will be required to provide stabilization beds and related services to homeless individuals. • The contractor will be required to work with DHS' Division of Street Homeless Solutions (SHS) to engage individuals who remain unsheltered. • The contractor will be required to provide an immediate placement option for street homeless clients, without a protracted admissions process. • The contractor will be required to facilitate ongoing coordinated services with SHS outreach teams to help individuals get back on their feet.
