Description
The State of Maryland’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) seeks a qualified vendor to provide a one‑year preventive maintenance and service agreement for its Agilent toxicology laboratory instruments, covering onsite inspections, cleaning, parts replacement, and technical support from 9/1/26 through 8/31/27. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder and requires all work to be performed by the vendor’s personnel using genuine Agilent parts.
• Scope includes preventive maintenance (system inspection, cleaning, pump oil replacement, mass spec vacuum checks, etc.)
• Service agreement guarantees 4‑business‑day onsite response, virtual tech support (8 am‑4 pm M‑F), and same‑day remote repairs when possible
• Travel, labor, and normal wear‑and‑tear parts are included in the firm‑fixed price
• Vendor must provide 24/7 phone support staffed by engineers trained on Agilent instruments
• All services must be performed by the contracted vendor; outsourcing is prohibited
• Contract value will be determined by unit price on the bid form; the award will be a single‑lot, firm‑fixed‑price award to the lowest qualified bidder.
