SUD Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors

The New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (NYS OASAS) is seeking qualified not-for-profit organizations to provide regional vocational rehabilitation services across the state. The selected providers will support NYS OASAS' mission to promote long-term recovery and self-sufficiency through community-based job placement assistance. Each organization will be responsible for hiring or retaining two vocational rehabilitation counselors who will serve as dedicated vocational specialists working in coordination with regional SUD treatment and recovery programs. • Provide vocational rehabilitation services to individuals in active treatment and recovery from substance use disorder (SUD) • Support NYS OASAS' mission to promote long-term recovery and self-sufficiency • Hire or retain two vocational rehabilitation counselors • Work in coordination with regional SUD treatment and recovery programs • Provide community-based job placement assistance
