The New York State Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) is seeking to procure our current cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) eDiscovery solution through Relativity, product RelativityOne, cloud based, with LegalHold. RelativityOne is the current solution set that provides NYS a full spectrum eDiscovery Reference Model (EDRM) solution. Due to growth and coverage for NYS agencies, NYOITS needs a minimum of 15TB per month. RelativityOne Electronic discovery products and services, including, but not limited to licenses, storage, implementation, and training. eDiscovery is an investigative platform that attempts to find evidence in email, business communications, and other data that could be used in civil litigation or criminal proceedings to identify, preserve, and collect data known as electronically stored information (ESI). This data includes emails, instant messaging chats, documents, databases, websites, and any other electronic information that could be relevant evidence for investigations, litigations, or labor relations cases. Relativity allows data to be ingested from cloud-based email solutions, native files, and forensic extractions into a single workspace for simplified keyword searching across all data types. This specific solution is needed by New York State agencies to support ongoing electronic discovery requests and may also be leveraged for other large-scale document production requests, such as Freedom of Information Law requests.
