Description
The City of Merced’s Public Works Department seeks an engineering consulting firm to prepare the 2026‑2030 Urban Water Use Objective (UWUO) reporting forms and to verify, update, and report on the Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional Landscape Area Measurements & Land‑Use Classification Datasets (CII‑LAM‑LUCD). The work includes data review, GIS mapping, inventory of large‑landscape water users, calculation of irrigated area, annual UWUO reporting, and compliance support over a multi‑year period.
• Deliver monthly project management updates, a detailed work plan, and final UWUO reports each January through 2030.
• Perform GIS‑based data verification of CII‑LAM‑LUCD datasets, create landscape inventories, and quantify irrigated square footage for large‑landscape users.
• Provide semi‑annual compliance recommendations, maintain required insurance and certifications, and adhere to California water‑conservation regulations (CCR § 969 & § 973).
