Description
The Frederick County Procurement & Contracting Department is seeking bids for fire hydrant cleaning and painting services. The contractor will be responsible for locating and cleaning/painting fire hydrants in a contiguous area within Frederick County. The County will provide a comprehensive list of sites and drawings of the water system grids. The contractor must have experience in fire hydrant cleaning and painting and must comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• The contract term is one year with four possible one-year renewals.
• The contractor must provide proof of insurance and registration to do business in the State of Maryland.
• The contractor must attend a pre-bid conference on October 21, 2025, at 10:00 AM EDT.
• Bids are due on November 18, 2025, at 3:00 PM.
• The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities or technicalities in bids.
