2025-2026 Winter Season Sidewalk Snow Removal

The City of Owatonna is seeking a qualified entity or individual to provide snow and ice removal services on sidewalks in the City of Owatonna. The contract duration will be one winter season, beginning November 6, 2025. The scope of services includes on-call maintenance activities, such as snow blowing, shoveling, and ice chipping, to clear sidewalks in residential, commercial, and industrial areas. The contractor must have a demonstrated ability to perform the tasks identified in the Request for Proposal and must provide proof of Smart Salt Certification. The City anticipates selecting one company to perform the services. • The contractor will be responsible for responding to service calls within 24 hours and communicating with property owners in a respectful and professional manner. • The contractor must take digital, time-stamped photographs of the work site before starting work and after completion of work. • The contractor must upload the photos to the City's Citizen's Services portal. • The contractor must provide a list of equipment and staff that will be used to perform the services. • The contractor must provide references and proof of insurance.
