The City of Waterbury, on behalf of the “NEST” redevelopment initiative, is seeking a qualified Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate construction activities for the Adams Street Redevelopment Phase II. The contractor will be responsible for managing the construction process, ensuring compliance with design specifications, schedules, budgets, and local regulations, and serving as the primary liaison between the city, designers, subcontractors, and stakeholders. This role is critical to delivering a successful mixed‑use redevelopment on the empty lot at 8 Adams Street. • Manage all phases of construction from pre‑construction planning through final close‑out. • Coordinate subcontractors, permits, inspections, and quality‑control procedures. • Monitor schedule adherence, budget performance, and risk mitigation, reporting regularly to the City of Waterbury. • Ensure safety compliance and adherence to local building codes and environmental standards. • Facilitate communication among architects, engineers, city officials, and the community.
