DD Community Action Coalition (DD-CAC)

The Washington State Department of Commerce is seeking a single vendor to provide coordination, facilitation, and capacity‑building services for the Developmental Disabilities Community Action Coalition (DD‑CAC). The contractor will support membership growth, coalition infrastructure, communication tools, leadership development, policy agenda creation, and advocacy activities across the state for a two‑year base period (with possible one‑year extensions). The award is a reimbursable grant limited to $98,000 per year. • Grow and retain DD‑CAC membership, expand partnerships, and manage coalition meetings (in‑person, virtual, hybrid). • Develop and maintain accessible communication platforms, produce outreach materials, and coordinate advocacy actions and annual events. • Provide leadership‑development programming, mentor emerging leaders, and assist in drafting state and federal policy agendas. • Deliver detailed performance reporting on membership engagement, outreach metrics, and policy‑agenda progress. • Must have ≥5 years experience with developmental‑disabilities communities and coalition facilitation, ≥3 years accessible‑meeting management, and be licensed (or able to obtain a WA license) to operate in Washington.
