Description
The City of Albany, Georgia is seeking a qualified contractor to install HDPE conduit and pull #1/0 15 kV primary wire for Phase 4 of its conduit and wire installation program. The contractor will provide all labor, equipment, supervision, and related services to install approximately 16,200 linear feet of 1‑2 in. HDPE conduit using directional‑bore techniques, install 2‑in. galvanized 90° elbows, and pull and terminate the primary wire at designated transformers. The City supplies all conduit, wire, and termination hardware; the contractor must secure permits, locate existing utilities, maintain traffic safety, and deliver a one‑year warranty. The contract is a lump‑sum, firm‑price award based on the lowest responsive and responsible bid, with required bid, performance, and payment bonds.
• Install 1‑2 in. HDPE conduit to a minimum depth of 3.5 ft, including directional‑bore work.
