High School Stadium Lighting with LED Replacement

The Lewisville Independent School District (LISD) is seeking Competitive Sealed Proposals (CSP) for the turnkey replacement of high school stadium lighting with LED at the five LISD high schools, as part of the 2024 Bond Program. The project involves replacing all existing football stadium lighting with new, LED sports lighting and installing a new control hub in each stadium's control booth. Replacing lighting includes the reuse of existing light poles and infrastructure. The scope includes electrical and communication/fiber installations. • The project requires the replacement of existing lighting luminaires and systems with new RGBW capable, remotely programmable and operable systems. • The existing lighting poles are to remain and be reused. • The contractor shall field verify existing security lighting, scoreboard power, and other systems that are existing to remain. • The contractor shall provide new lighting control stations in the pressbox with wireless communication. • The contractor shall provide new emergency lighting inverters and batteries to meet emergency egress lighting requirements. The estimated construction/public works costs for this project are $3,200,000. The project is expected to be completed by August 1, 2026.
