Hangar Fire Suppression System Upgrade: Reno-Stead Airport (RTS)

The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) is seeking bids for the upgrade of the fire suppression and fire alarm system in Hangar 5 at Reno-Stead Airport (RTS). The scope of work includes tying in the existing fire water hangar feed to the new TMWA water feed on-site, providing a new fire sprinkler system, and updating the fire alarm system to meet the requirements of the 2022 NFPA 409 and the latest NFPA 13 standards. The project will be funded by the RTAA's general fund, with an estimated budget of $1,600,000 to $1,900,000. • The project requires the contractor to provide all materials, labor, tools, expendable equipment, transportation services, permits, and fees necessary to complete the scope of work. • The contractor must be licensed to work in the State of Nevada. • The project includes the provision of a new fire sprinkler system and an updated fire alarm system. • The contractor must acknowledge receipt of all addenda by signing the Acknowledgement of Receipt of Addenda form. • The RTAA reserves the right to not award a contract for any work herein, and the issuance of this ITB does not guarantee any subsequent award.
