Request for Qualifications & Proposals for Engineering Planning Project

The Town of Newstead is seeking Statements of Qualifications and Proposals from engineering consultants to assist the Town in a study to evaluate the feasibility of constructing a sewer system. The Town will select a firm and negotiate an engineering services contract for the study and for the development of an engineering report to evaluate providing sanitary sewer conveyance to populated areas in the Town, specifically a portion of the Route 5 corridor. The report will evaluate the feasibility of connecting to the Village of Akron sewer system and providing treatment at the existing Village Wastewater Treatment Plant, as well as the potential for the Town to construct their own Wastewater Treatment Plant.
