Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a quotation for a new sample preparation equipment lab. The lab should include a flexible and fast compact robotic workstation to efficiently automate assays, sample, control, and calibrator preparation. The equipment should be compatible with sample tubes, microplates, and custom lab ware, and have the ability to communicate with LC/MS/MS system and middleware. The vendor should provide a consumable list with part numbers, maintenance manuals, user manuals, and cleaning instructions. The equipment should also have the ability to heat, cool, and mix plates, and have no drip pipetting when handling volatile liquids.

• Barcode identification of samples, 96 well plates, and reagents
• Ability to program for solid phase extraction, protein precipitation, and preparation of assay standards
• Ability to use closed system to apply solvent during solid phase extraction
• Ability to use 96 well plates
• 6 month preventive maintenance plus an additional 3 year extended warranty
• 12 month warranty
• 6 days onsite training
• White glove installation by Hamilton
