RFP General Contractor/Construction Manager (GC/CM) Services for Washougal Public Safety Complex

The City of Washougal is seeking a General Contractor/Construction Manager (GC/CM) for the Washougal Public Safety Complex project. The project involves a multi-phased replacement of Fire Station 43, including demolition, site preparation, and construction of a new fire station, as well as renovations to the existing police station. The GC/CM will be responsible for preconstruction services, including estimating, scheduling, and value engineering, as well as construction management and coordination. The project is expected to last 15 months, and the GC/CM will be required to work closely with the City and the design team to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget. Some key aspects of the project include: • Demolition of the existing fire station and site preparation • Construction of a new fire station, including apparatus bay, fire station housing, and community services • Renovations to the existing police station, including a new community/training room, lobby, fitness room, and break room • Coordination with the police department and other stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption to services • Compliance with apprenticeship utilization requirements and other regulations
