Description
The City of Starkville is seeking bids for the construction of Water Supply Well No. 9. The project includes grading, constructing a gravel road and pad site, drilling a water supply well, and installing a water supply pump, two chemical buildings, chemical feed systems, associated yard piping, and electrical/controls for the systems. The maximum time allowable for completion of the project is 360 calendar days.
• The project requires a pre-bid meeting, which is recommended but not mandatory.
• The bid package can be viewed and obtained by visiting www.cityofstarkvilleplans.org.
• Bids are due at 10:00 A.M. local time on June 24, 2026.
• The successful bidder will be required to furnish a 100% Payment and Performance Bond if the bid equals or exceeds $25,000.
• The City of Starkville reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the proposal accepted.
