Description
The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a full-service landscaping/irrigation firm to provide materials, installation, repairs, and other services associated with all types of landscaping design and development, and irrigation services, at all locations/buildings both on Main Campus and at remote locations. The contract will be for a period of 12 months with an option to renew for up to four additional one-year terms. The University is looking for a firm that can provide high-quality services, meet the University's requirements, and work on multiple projects at multiple locations simultaneously.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Landscaping and irrigation services for minor projects (those totaling $10 million or less)
• Ability to work on multiple projects at multiple locations simultaneously
• Capability to shorten the project development cycle and procurement lead times
• Ability to provide reliable and controlled performance schedules
• Ability to meet or exceed the University's requirements
• Ability to accelerate response times for project commencement
• Support of a sustainable construction/renovation program
• Assist the University in development of a culture favoring sustainable landscaping practices
• Decrease, if not eliminate, waste and debris from landfills
