Description
The Baldwin County Board of Education is seeking a qualified architectural design firm to provide professional architectural services for the development of a 5-Year Local Facilities Plan and associated facility design and construction projects. The selected firm will be responsible for inspecting all school facilities, producing a comprehensive list of recommended renovations, and developing design plans for capital outlay projects. The firm will also provide construction administration services, including attending design review meetings, drafting and assisting in the implementation of RFPs/bids, and performing on-site inspections.
• The project involves developing a 5-Year Local Facilities Plan for the Baldwin County School District.
• The selected firm will provide architectural design services, including programming, schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
• The firm will attend design review meetings and provide guidance regarding permitting and state/local legal requirements.
• The firm will draft and assist in the implementation of RFPs/bids for project construction and provide testing and on-site inspection services.
• The firm will perform construction contract administration services, including Owner-Design Professional-Contractor meetings.
