Purchase of Renewable Diesel Fuel

The City of Santa Monica is seeking bids for the purchase of Renewable Diesel Fuel for approximately 100 vehicles and equipment. The contract term is for 5 years. The City requires the successful bidder to furnish and deliver Renewable Clear Diesel Fuel to six City facilities. The fuel must meet ASTM D975 & CARB Diesel Specifications and be chemically identical to petroleum diesel. The City's projected average annual order volume is 50,000 Gallons. • The fuel must be delivered within 2-3 business days of order receipt. • The vendor must use their own delivery trucks and drivers to deliver the fuel. • The vendor must possess and provide required licenses, endorsements, permits, decal numbers, and placards to transport Renewable Diesel fuel. • The vendor must have a minimum of 5 years of experience delivering diesel fuel to fire departments and city fuel sites in southern California.
