Description
The City of Austin is seeking a contractor to provide disposable cloth wiping rags for employees' miscellaneous cleaning activities. The contract will be used by the Austin Water department, and the City reserves the right to add or remove other departments, locations, or services as necessary. The contractor must provide 100% cotton wiping rags, washed, sterilized, and dried, and meeting specific material specifications. The contract term is 24 months, with three optional 12-month extensions.
• The contractor must submit an exact replica of the cloth wiping rags to be provided within 10 business days of request by the City.
• The contractor must deliver the goods within 14 calendar days of the order being placed.
• The contractor must provide a shipping or delivery ticket with each delivery, showing the description of each item, quantity, and unit price.
• The City will provide a contract manager or designee to schedule the service and discuss the project.
• The contractor must comply with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, policies, ordinances, and Austin Water guidelines.
