Description
The Naval Submarine Base New London is seeking a contractor to provide elevator maintenance and repair services. The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract with a base period of 12 months and four 12-month options. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to provide the services outlined in the Performance Work Statement. The evaluation factors for the contract award will be price, corporate experience, and past performance.
• The contract will require the contractor to provide services at Naval Submarine Base New London and outlying areas.
• The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to provide the services.
• The contract will include a performance-based service acquisition approach with four component parts: performance outcomes, measurable standards, consideration of incentives, and performance assessment plan.
• The contractor will be expected to exercise maximum discretion within bounds of prudent risk management to adjust processes and resources needed to reach specified objectives at the highest performance level.
