Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Custom Commercial Aptamer Procurement

The U.S. Army intends to award a firm‑fixed‑price sole‑source contract to a single vendor for the custom synthesis, purification, quality‑control, and delivery of DNA, RNA, and peptide aptamers (with optional chemical modifications) in lyophilized form. The work supports diagnostic assay development, biosensor research, and chemical/biological defense missions for the Army’s Chemical Biological Center. The selected contractor must perform denaturing PAGE purification, provide empirical sequence verification via ESI‑MS and 10 % urea gel dPAGE for every delivery, and supply the aptamers on a continuing‑requirement basis.
