Mill Springs Mill Historic Restoration

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Nashville District is seeking a contractor for a historic restoration project at the Mill Springs Mill in Monticello, Kentucky. The project involves the restoration of the Mill structure, which is a historic building on the National Register of Historic Places. The work must be compliant with the Historic Preservation Act (HPA) and the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation. • The project will be solicited to the MATOC holders under the construction DB MATOC. • Subcontractors interested in meeting the MATOC pool are invited to attend the Industry Day. • The place of performance is the Mill Springs Mill, located at 9155 HWY 1275 N, Monticello, KY 42633. • The project requires compliance with the Historic Building Maintenance Manual for Mill Springs Mill, Mill Springs, Kentucky. • Any changes to methods and materials outlined in the report must go through Section 106 with the SHPO.
