Description
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is seeking a qualified C‑11 licensed elevator contractor to provide full‑service elevator maintenance, inspection, testing, and repair for its facilities. The work includes monthly inspections, annual testing, and on‑call repair services, with all materials, labor, equipment, permits, taxes, and transportation supplied by the contractor. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with optional small‑business and DVBE incentives.
• Provide 60 monthly inspection/maintenance services and 5 annual testing services per contract year.
• Perform repair calls on an hourly basis, subject to prior approval by CAL FIRE.
• Supply all parts, tools, and transportation needed for safe and serviceable elevator operation across CAL FIRE sites, primarily in San Diego County.
