In-Home Crisis Stabilization Services

The County of Orange, Health Care Agency is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide In-Home Crisis Stabilization Services, which include psychoeducation, intensive short-term support, individual and family therapy, and crisis assessments. The program aims to provide support to individuals with severe mental illness or serious emotional disturbance, and to divert them from psychiatric hospitalization. The services will be provided in collaboration with the mobile Crisis Assessment Team, Psychiatric Emergency Team, County outpatient clinics, and other healthcare providers. The contract term may be renewed for an additional term or terms, contingent upon available funding, contractor performance, and County policies. Some key aspects of the job include: • Providing in-home crisis stabilization services to individuals with severe mental illness or serious emotional disturbance • Collaborating with healthcare providers to divert individuals from psychiatric hospitalization • Providing psychoeducation, intensive short-term support, individual and family therapy, and crisis assessments • Maintaining a facility located in Orange County, California, with office space suitable for Medi-Cal certification • Ensuring that all services are provided in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract, including the Model Contract attached to the RFP.
