Description
The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking competitive bids to establish a price-based contract for materials to be ordered as needed for 3/8" Limestone Chips and Erosion Stone delivered at DOT garages. The contract will be for a one-year period with an option to renew for five additional years in twelve-month increments. The award will be based on the most advantageous bid, considering cost and other factors such as meeting mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedules. The contractor will be required to deliver the materials to the Iowa DOT destination(s) between 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. on normal working days, with a notification of delivery phone call 24 hours prior to delivery.
