59A1390 A&E On-call Structure Construction Inspection and Construction Contract Administration Services, Districts 6 and 10

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms to provide A&E On-call Structure Construction Inspection and Construction Contract Administration Services for Districts 6 and 10. The estimated contract amount is $20,798,626 - $33,797,767, and the contract term is three years. The selected firm will provide structure construction engineering and inspection services, including performing construction engineering and inspection, general contract administration, preparing and administering contract change orders, and providing engineering support to resolve construction potential claims. The firm will also assist in the preparation of final as-built plans and reports. • The scope of work includes structure construction inspection and construction contract administration services for Caltrans transportation facility projects in Districts 6 and portions of District 10 (South). • The firm will perform tasks associated with structure construction engineering and inspection services, including reviewing submittals, performing calculations, and taking samples and performing field-controlled tests of construction materials. • The firm will also provide incidental services, including non-architectural and engineering services, training services, and incidental public relations services. • The firm will be required to submit an electronic SOQ file, and the SOQ package must include a cover letter, company profile, project experience, and personnel qualifications. • The selection process will include an evaluation of the firm's qualifications, experience, and personnel, as well as a review of the firm's approach to the project and its ability to meet the requirements of the contract.
