Description
The U.S. Coast Guard, Sector Northern New England is seeking a contractor to provide snow plow services for their housing facilities in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. The contractor will be responsible for plowing snow, using sand and salt as needed, and ensuring a safe driving environment. The contract will start on approximately December 1, 2025, and end on approximately April 30, 2026. The contractor must have at least one year of experience in snow plowing/removal and must provide all necessary equipment and supplies.
Some key requirements of the job include:
• Plowing snow and using sand and salt as needed to ensure a safe driving environment
• Clearing the entire driveway and parking areas up to and including the old garage pad
• Providing additional services such as sanding and/or salting of the road as necessary
• Managing the total landscaping effort within the designated areas
• Complying with all state and federal regulations, including OSHA safety standards
