Arkansas State University is seeking a contractor to provide on‑call fire‑watch services for its campus facilities. The vendor must be able to deploy two qualified fire‑watch personnel within eight hours of a request and sustain coverage for up to ten consecutive days during system outages or other fire‑hazard events. Services are required on an as‑needed basis, with historical usage indicating roughly 437 fire‑watch hours across two multi‑day events in the prior year. The contract will be a firm‑fixed‑price agreement for an initial five‑year term (Dec 1 2026 – Nov 30 2031) with two optional one‑year extensions, and includes an annual escalation clause that cannot exceed the prior year’s rate. The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state and local regulations, hold appropriate insurance, and adhere to University access and communication protocols.
