Federal Pacific Electrical Switch-Gear Replacement at Fields Road ES

The Montgomery County Public Schools are seeking bids for the replacement of Federal Pacific electrical switch-gear at Fields Road Elementary School. The work includes removing, furnishing, delivering, and completely replacing the existing switch-gear and main feeder wire, including all related materials. The project must be completed in compliance with Montgomery County Public Schools' specifications and drawings. The contractor must provide materials and labor as required to complete the work as indicated in the contract documents. • The scope of work includes replacing the existing I-T-E switchboard and twelve panelboards. • The contractor must provide new overhead feeders under Feeder Alternate 1. • The existing facility shall remain in operation during renovation, and interruption to the existing building electric service shall be coordinated with the owner to minimize disruption. • The contractor must provide a 4" high concrete housekeeping pad and make continuous existing circuits interrupted by demolition. • The contractor must also provide new branch circuit wiring to match existing branch circuit wiring and be spliced in the wiring trough as indicated.
