Elevator Maintenance for Spokane VAMC

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide full-service maintenance, inspection, testing, and emergency services for government-owned vertical transportation equipment (elevators) at the Spokane VAMC. The contractor will be responsible for performing on-site preventive maintenance and intervening repair services, including routine repair work, monthly fireman recall tests, and annual fire alarm testing. The contract is for a base period of 12 months with four optional years. The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, tools, and materials to perform the work. • The contractor must have a certified Journeyman elevator mechanic on site to perform the work. • The contractor must provide a list of all equipment and materials used to perform the work. • The contractor must ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the latest Federal, State, and Local codes. • The contractor must provide monthly reports to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) detailing the work performed. • The contractor must be available 24/7 to respond to emergency calls. • The contractor must have a plan in place for responding to emergencies and providing backup services when needed.
