Request for Qualifications for Professional Services for Waterline Replacement and/or Extension Project

The New Albany Light, Gas, and Water Department (NALGW) is seeking qualifications from firms and individuals to provide professional services for a prospective waterline replacement and/or extension project. The selected firm or individual will be utilized to provide engineering services through the design & construction documents phase, and potentially through to the project close-out. The project may be funded by grants and/or loans, and/or other federal and state funds. • The scope of work includes preparing a conceptual design plan and projected cost estimate, preparing plans, specifications, and a unit price cost estimate, and potentially assisting in bid opening and preparation of bid tabulation. • The qualifications will be evaluated based on design team qualifications, experience, and capacity for performance. • The city reserves the right to reject any/all qualifications and terminate the selection process at any time. • The deadline for submitting questions is Tuesday, November 25th, 2025, at 5:00 PM, and the deadline for submitting qualifications is Friday, November 28th, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
