Description
The Town of Greenwich is soliciting bids for the Summer Adventurers Camp Transportation. The camp is a summer day camp for children between the ages of 8-15, and the transportation services are required for the duration of the camp, weekdays, starting June 23, 2026, and ending August 7, 2026. The transportation will include daily pick-up and drop-off at the Western Greenwich Civic Center, as well as off-site field trips to various locations. The bidder shall provide pricing for the transportation services, including the cost of parking and tolls. The contract will have a term of one season (Summer 2026).
Some key points to consider:
* The camp will be closed for one day, on Friday, July 3, 2026, and all campers will be on-site on Thursday, August 6, 2026, therefore transportation will not be required on those days.
* One large bus, to seat at least 71 passengers, will be utilized daily.
* For off-site, scheduled trips longer than a 30-minute drive, an air-conditioned bus is required.
* The weekly designated schedule is provided in the bid document.
* The bidder shall provide references for similar services provided in the past.
* The bidder shall indicate all exceptions being taken to the language of the Request for Bid, the Specifications, Scope of Work, and/or to the language of the attached Contract format.
