The U.S. Army Watervliet Arsenal is soliciting a sole‑source vendor (Hudson Valley Community College) to provide a four‑year Machinist Apprenticeship program for 13 Arsenal employees. The program consists of evening, part‑time, college‑level courses covering machine tool theory, CNC, metallurgy, quality assurance, and a capstone project. Tuition, fees, and all instructional costs are included, and the work is performed on‑site at the Arsenal with strict security and non‑disclosure requirements.
