Description
The City of Austin is seeking a contractor to provide Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts and repair services for TORO lawn equipment on an as-needed basis. The contract will be utilized by the City's Fleet Mobility Services Department, and the City reserves the right to allow other City departments to utilize the contract. The contractor will be required to provide expedited repair services, emergency disaster services, and code red parts orders. The contractor will also be required to maintain an adequate parts inventory and provide a 12-month labor warranty for all repair services.
• The contractor must provide OEM parts for TORO lawn equipment, except for core components on renewed assemblies, which must meet all applicable federal, state, and local requirements for quality and safety.
• The contractor must provide repair services for TORO lawn equipment, including expedited repair services and emergency disaster services.
• The contractor must maintain an adequate parts inventory and provide a 12-month warranty for all parts.
• The contractor must provide code red parts orders with overnight delivery.
• The contractor must attend a post-award or contract kick-off meeting with City personnel within 30 calendar days after contract award.
• The City may perform site visits during the term of the contract to verify that the contractor maintains the appropriate facilities, equipment, inventory, licenses, registrations, permits, and qualified personnel to perform according to the scope of work.
