Description
The Texas General Land Office is seeking bids for water collection and analysis services in Brazoria, Matagorda, and Harris counties as part of the Beach Watch Program. The successful bidder will be responsible for collecting and analyzing beach water quality samples for the presence of Enterococcus bacteria. The project involves collecting approximately 775 samples in Brazoria County, 146 samples in Harris County, and 500 samples in Matagorda County. The bidder must meet or exceed the minimum specifications, terms, conditions, procedures, and requirements set forth in the IFB. The contract term is expected to be 45 days after the Notice to Proceed is issued.
• The bidder must have experience in water quality monitoring and analysis.
• The bidder must have the necessary equipment and personnel to collect and analyze water samples.
• The bidder must follow the sampling schedule and conduct additional sampling as required in the work plan.
• The bidder must analyze water samples for Enterococci bacteria using the specified method.
• The bidder must maintain all records related to the collection and analysis of data in accordance with the requirements established in the QAPP.
