Modernization of the Freight Elevators

The City of Cincinnati is seeking a design-build contractor to modernize three elevators, including two passenger elevators and one freight elevator. The contractor will be responsible for assessing the existing conditions of the elevators, providing complete architectural, engineering, and construction services to modernize the elevators. The project includes renovation of the cabs' interiors, replacement and upgrade of various mechanical and electrical components and systems, and ensuring compliance with national standards and relevant codes. The contractor must have a minimum of five years' experience in design, building, and installation of elevators and demonstrate proven experience and technical expertise in elevator modernization. Some key features of the project include: * Modernization of two passenger elevators and one freight elevator * Renovation of cabs' interiors, including demolition/disposal of existing and replacement with new wall panels, flooring, and ceilings * Replacement and upgrade of various mechanical and electrical components and systems * Ensuring compliance with national standards and relevant codes * Minimizing disruption to building operations * Providing job cost estimates at schematic design, 50% design submission, and 90% design submission * Providing drawings and specifications at all required phases
