2nd Floor Breakroom Exhaust Fan - Building Department

The City of St. Cloud is seeking quotes from pre-qualified contractors for the installation of a new Panasonic WhisperCeiling 290 CFM Surface-Mount Exhaust Fan in the second-floor break room of Building 1 at City Hall. The scope of work includes installing the fan, providing ductwork, fittings, supports, and sealant to tie the new fan into the existing restroom exhaust system, and extending 120V electrical wiring from the existing lighting circuit. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and permits necessary to complete the work in accordance with the Florida Building Code and NEC standards. • The fan shall be installed in the ACT ceiling grid at the indicated break room location. • The contractor shall provide ductwork, fittings, supports, and sealant to tie the new fan into the existing restroom exhaust system. • The contractor shall extend 120V electrical wiring from the existing lighting circuit in the break room to the new exhaust fan. • The fan shall activate simultaneously with the lighting circuit controlled by the existing motion sensor. • The contractor shall verify correct fan operation and airflow performance after installation and demonstrate system functionality to City Facilities staff.
