Intent to Sole Source Kaeser Compressors Preventative Maintenance

The United States Air Force intends to award a non-competitive firm fixed priced purchase order to Kaeser Compressors for preventative maintenance on preexisting Kaeser SK15T compressors at Seymour Johnson AFB, NC. The maintenance requires specialized and unique procedures, proprietary OEM calibration protocols, and certified testing equipment to ensure zero contamination of breathing air. The contractor will provide repairs, replacements, and operational checkout of the system, as well as quality control checks. • The contract is for the maintenance of Kaeser SK15T compressors used for life-sustaining breathing air supply during in-tank fuel maintenance on government aircraft. • The contractor must adhere to OEM standards, longevity, and overall health of the KAESER SK15T System. • The contractor will provide specific instructions for operating the unit, repair the system to meet all OEM specifications, and replace defective components with new, OEM-certified or OEM-equivalent components. • The contractor will conduct operational checkout of the system, quality control checks, and provide detailed and itemized service reports upon completion of any visit.
