Description
The City of Salina is seeking a qualified contractor to design and construct a new scale‑house facility and associated entrance improvements at its municipal solid‑waste landfill. The scope includes demolition of the existing structure, construction of a new building with an ICC‑500 storm shelter, installation of two 50‑ton truck scales, extensive earthwork, roadway and pavement upgrades, new fencing, gates, lighting, a 1,500‑gal septic system, and related site utilities. The contractor must also provide temporary access roads, traffic control, security fencing, and coordinate with the city and utility providers throughout the project.
